OTB: Milestones & More

This post contains affiliate links.

There have been some big changes in the Simply household this past week. Both of my babies have started to transition into new rise settings on their cloth diapers.

Little Miss is loving on her Smart Bottoms Too Smart Cover with Smart Bottoms Smart Fold.
Mary’s Garden is a LE exclusive to Babyzagogo, and its sold out. But you can find Smart Bottoms at LagoonBaby in Canada or Diaper Junction in the USA.

Little Man is sporting an original Elemental. While you can’t get these anymore, the new and improved Elemental 3.0 is just as good (if not better). Find it at CozyBums today.

Little Miss is is going up one rise in any of her diapers with 4 rise settings (think Easy Peasies, Funky Fluff or Smart Bottoms) and Little Man has started to open up in most of his diapers (most recently his bumGenius Elementals, Smart Bottoms, and Nuggles!). This makes for a sad day around the Simply household. It’s another reminder my babies aren’t always going to be babies and they just keep growing as Little Miss hits almost 13 pounds, and Little Man is pushing 30 pounds.

We also hit some other great milestones – Little Miss has the most beautiful social smile. She loves to giggle and chat. Meanwhile, Little Man is hitting some not so great milestones – say hello two year molars? Teething is the worst, and if anyone has any tips for handling a teething two year old, drop them below because baby wearing my two all day, every day is not practical.

What milestones did your kids hit recently?

My kids are much older than yours. My youngest is about to hit the milestone of graduating from high school. 🙂

Today, I did something I never imagined doing – I had a settlement conference following a small claims suit I made earlier this year. I filed for financial compensation following negligence of bookkeeping services that I hired out for almost 18 months.  The thing about small claims court is they really want you to nail […]

Prince George, BC | My Rhododendron Died

I’m from BC’s southwest coast, rhododendrons grow everywhere. They are the hedge plant of everything, but in Prince George, BC you will be hard pressed to find a rhododendron because they are just not zone 3 plants.  When we purchased our current home we were surprised to discover a rhododendron – but there was much […]
