Better than GroVia Wipes? Thirsties Organic Cotton Wipes

I have long championed GroVia Cloth Wipes as an amazing choice for reusable cloth wipes for baby’s bum, but not anymore. Earlier in 2018, Thirsties announced they revamped their organic cotton wipe (you can find more on my complete cloth wipe review here). I was sceptical because seriously, why did this cloth diaper accessory need to be changed?

Guys.

Listen.

It did need to be changed.

Why?

Because it was less awesome than GroVia Cloth Wipes.

And now Thirsties Organic Cotton Wipes are more awesome than Grovia Cloth Wipes. #truestory

Thirsties should be paying me to tell you this, but they aren’t. I do use affiliate links in this post and earn comission from perspective purchases.

What’s Different?

The NEW Thirsties Cloth Wipe is an Organic Cloth Wipe with two sides of smooth organic cotton. The OLD Thirsties cloth wipes were one side organic terry cloth and one side organic smooth cotton.

Thirsties Wipes new versus old

On the old Thirsties Cloth Wipes the terry cloth was a bright solid colour (teal, orange or white), and the back side white. On the New Thirsties Organic Cloth Wipes the material is white but instead, 2 wipes are blue, 2 orange and 2 green.

Both wipes are the same size at 8.5″ x 8″ and both wipes are ORGANIC COTTON.

Thirsties Wipes New versus Old

You only get 6 in a package for $15.49 in Canada at Cloth Diaper Kids or $12 in the USA at Diaper Junction.

Thirsties Organic Wipe is BETTER

But why Bailey?

Why is this reusable cloth wipe better than all the other cloth wipes you’ve used.

I’m not really sure I can give you any more reason than…

JUST BECAUSE IT IS.

Thirsties New Cloth Wipe is Organic Cotton Awesome #clothdiapers #ecofriendly

I was sceptical that without terry cloth I wouldn’t be able to scrub off the worst poop accidents but the new Thirsties Organic Cloth Wipe has proven to be up to any disastrous task. I use one for most messes where other cloth wipes need two.

I’ve owned them for about month and they have stained because organic cotton does that. But they are still unbelievably soft, and my new favourite cloth wipe. I think the Thirsties Organic Cloth Wipe is the best cloth wipe on the market.  You need it.

And if you’re a fan of liniment like I am, then you’ll love the new Thirsties Organic Cloth Wipe because it cleans up with liniment better than just water.

Price Point: I know, it hurts. You only get 6 in a package (unlike GroVia is 12) $15.49 in Canada at Cloth Diaper Kids or $12 in the USA at Diaper Junction.

If you want luxury cloth wipes for baby’s bum, this is the way to go. If you need organic for baby’s tush, then these reusable cloth wipes are the best choice to make. Thirsties Organic Cloth Wipes might be expensive but they are worth it. I would buy more.

What did you think about the new cloth wipe from Thirsties?

Hmm! I’ve always loved GroVia wipes. I may have to look into Thirsties.
But I have found some awesome wipes that I linked in this blog post…

Seriously, one wipe can clean all but the absolute blowiest blow-outs!

Prince George, BC | My Rhododendron Died

I’m from BC’s southwest coast, rhododendrons grow everywhere.
