Little Woods Co – Indoor Slide
It’s not the big climbing gyms showcased in earlier in this post, but this wooden slide is such a simple alternative to the Pikler Triangle while offering that physical sensory exertion your child may be desiring.
There used to be a wooden IKEA slide, but alas, this is a fantastic alternative shipping from Little Woods Co in Toronto.
Soft Foam Climbers – Amazon Canada
Millard Family of Brands on Amazon Canada and many other brands on amazon offers many different indoor sensory climbing toys for kids that ship in and around Canada. These climbing toys are great for toddlers and preschoolers who need to jump and land.
I also love how easy it is to just toss these in a room and put them away – and wipe clean when the inevitable happens.
Indoor Door Frame Swings
These are available on Amazon and sometimes through boutiques that specialize in sensory play and teaching equipment. Everybody I know that has a door Frame that can fasten to a swing is obsessed because it’s such an easy to install and remove toy for kids to play inside.
These indoor door frame swings do require space and the right door frame. My house odes not have any spaces that would accommodate one, but I’m seriously obsessed – my kids love the sensory experience of swinging and would crazy for an indoor swing.
Play Couches & More – Canadian Alternatives to the Nugget.
