Canadian made diapers are not dirt cheap, they come with a cost that means maybe a little more than knock-off diapers from eBay, but it’s always worth it. Many of these companies manufacturing cloth diapers in Canada are chasing the entrepreneurial dream. They are dedicated men and women creating a product with a passion to fill a void and meet the needs.
Having met some of the Canadian diapers manufactures on my trip to Central Ontario, I know many of these brands are represented by amazing people worth shopping from. They are deeply passionate about local production and sourcing high-quality products.
Just because a cloth diaper is made in Canada doesn’t mean its amazing. Not every cloth diaper is created equal, and the search for the perfect cloth diaper will require a little thinking from you as you navigate what type of cloth diaper systems. If you feel fancy, try one of each. If you feel a little less ambitious, try at least three and pick the ones that look the prettiest.
Canadian Made Cloth Diapers

Important update August 2020 – because the co-owner Ilana continues to use her public social media platform to share content that is shameful and discriminatory. I no longer recommend this product.
Bella Luna Cloth Diapers
Bella Luna manufactures cloth diapers, training pants, mama cloth and other related products in Canada. Originally known as Ella Bella Bum, their cloth diapers are gorgeous. This small shop manufactures bold prints and solids in a pocket cloth diaper style.

LilHelper Cloth Diapers!!!! They’re amazing and Canadian 💕
They don’t manufacture their cloth diapers in Canada. They are just a Canadian Brand.
Sorry if I misunderstood what you were looking for! Their wipes, boosters, change mats and handful of other products are made in Toronto. But you’re right, the diapers themselves are not manufactured there.
Nuggles diapers here in Kamloops BC 🙂
I don’t believe they are manufactured in Kamloops just designed and headquartered. But if you know other info, always welcome

– Cherelle @ Nuggles
Cherelle I love hearing this. I will update my list shortly <3
Hip Huggers diapers. I believe they are made in Victoria, BC
They don’t appear to be manufactured in Canada. Looks like just a mom selling rebranded cheap diapers from China. She’s also closing shop thisyear.
Guess we have to take Bummis off the list? Sad that there’s no more Bummis and Funky Fluff
Yes, and it breaks my heart. I’m not sure I’m ready, but I might just have to.
