A Review of GroVia Disposable Wipes

A while back, I was gifted a package of GroVia disposable wipes. I had the intentions of one day writing a post and here I am to let you know what I think about these water wipes that are typically highly raved about in the GroVia community.

This post isn’t sponsored, but I did receive the product for free from a friend. I do have affiliate links in this post for commission based referrals.

a Review of GroVia Disposable Wipes - Water Wipes by GroVia - Are they any good? #clothdiapers #crunchymom #ecofriendly

What is a GroVia Disposable Wipe?

These are a return of a previously loved product available by GroVia . GroVia already makes a pretty awesome cloth wipe (learn more about them here), but they also understand diapering is very mixed experience with people.

The GroVia disposable wipe is 100% natural made from viscose from bamboo and free of chlorine, dyes and fragrances. There are 80 wipes in a package.

They are available in a super simple package with a soft pack and a crappy resealable sticker top.

Wipe Dimensions: 7.1 x 7.9 inches.

Ingredients: Purified Water, Aloe Vera, Glycerin (vegetable oil derived), Alkyl Polglucoside (corn based), Vitamin E, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxmethyl Clycinate (a naturally occurring amino acid).

My Honest Opinion?

They suck.

Seriously.

I hate them.

What do I really think about the GroVia Disposable Wipes?

And, they cost like $7.99 in Canada – you can find them at The Baby Footprint and maybe Cloth Diaper Kids.  Which is a lot of money for a disposable product.

I have used a couple from the package, and I don’t want to use anymore. I find them dry, and they do a terrible job at cleaning. I brought them on a roadtrip this summer, and I might have bought other wipes into the second day because I just couldn’t anymore.

My kids don’t have super sensitive bums to disposable wipes, so we were able to use them, but there are other water wipe options on the market. I haven’t tried any, instead I usually just travel with my stash of cloth wipes.

That’s it because I wont recommend these, but I also don’t have experiences with other water wipes. Maybe water wipes just suck, but if you need something for sensitive tushy, just learn to use cloth wipes because cloth kicks butt at cleaning up messy bums.

Prince George, BC | My Rhododendron Died

I’m from BC’s southwest coast, rhododendrons grow everywhere. They are the hedge plant of everything, but in Prince George, BC you will be hard pressed to find a rhododendron because they are just not zone 3 plants.  When we purchased our current home we were surprised to discover a rhododendron – but there was much […]
