Somebody I follow on Instagram shared with me IlluminatedSketch – and I kinda loved it because here was this artist in creating niched content in the cloth diaper space. I followed her for a few weeks, and finally decided to send in some pictures to have her turn into digital drawings.
This post is not sponsored but I do use an Etsy link.
I wanted to take a photo of my two kids in diapers and turn them into one drawing but I could not find a picture of them together, so I opted to do this and just have my favourite newborn diaper photo turned into a drawing. I’m hoping to send them off to create a canvas image and hang them in my office.
These are my favourite photos of my babies. This first photo is of Walter. It’s the first cloth diaper I ever used: a sloppy prefold and a cover.
The second photo is of Anna. She’s fallen asleep in my Woven Wings wrap after a long photo session where she refused to nap the entire time and now looks like a little baby angel.
I’m really happy with how they turned out. Amanda was great to work with and helped me scale back the images to something that would look awesome. She had some great suggestions and I was totally open to it. We messaged via Etsy and she had them done so quick. I can’t gaurantee she’ll always be quick, but I’m excited to share these with you today. Visit her Etsy shop – Illuminated Sketch.
Next I’m going to print these onto a canvas and I’ll show you my finished office.
