Last week we talked about the Nerdy Momma’s Pocket Cloth Diaper and since publishing that review I have learnt that Anna is preparing the next launch of a new series of prints including a small tweak to the cover. We will talk about that later this month. Today’s post is about the Nerdy Momma’s All In One Cloth Diaper – sometimes abbreviated to AIO.
If you don’t know Nerdy Momma’s, you should. Check out show 4 on the Cloth Diaper Podcast for her story, and then give her a follow wherever you social media – Instagram, Facebook and even Tik Tok. All of the artwork is fandom inspired and owned by Nerdy Mommas and the items are CSPC complaint materials.
Anna is the wonderfully amazing woman behind Nerdy Momma’s and a few years ago I purchased her diapers with the intent of doing a review and then life got away from me. I did get to use these products on my babies before my cloth diaper days were done.

Nerdy Mommas AIO Diaper
The details on this diaper is that it is an All In One Diaper which means the entire diaper is one preassembled easy to use package. All In One diapers have sewn in absorbency and don’t require any extra pieces or fussing (some exceptions apply). AIO diapers are typically sold as a one size diaper, or a newborn size. Today we are talking about a one size product.
The Nerdy Mommas AIO cloth diaper is a one size diaper best fitting babies 8-40 lbs. It is a generous shape featuring a 4×3 rise setting at the front of the diaper to allow you to change the overall fit of the diaper for different size babies. Start on the bottom rise snaps for babies around 8lbs, open to the second around 10-12, and the third around 20-25, and open around 25+. This will vary depending on the size of your babies body and legs. Using the rise settings allows you to get the best possible fit and function for a trim fit that doesn’t leak.
Unlike the pocket diaper, the All In One diaper features a double waist snap with hip snap, and cross over snaps.
Inside the diaper you will find two sewn-in inserts. One is attached to the back and the other is attached to the front. These inserts are made with 2 layers of bamboo Terry cloth (exterior) and two layers of cotton/bamboo woven blend. Anna has choosen this combo for the best performance for baby.
The diaper also features a microsuede backing (perfect for protecting PUL) front tummy panel, and gussets. Together this creates a generous fitting diaper with lots of customization for a leak-free experience.

Things I love & Comparisons
I knew right off the bat that I would love this diaper because of it’s natural fibre absorbency, double waist snap, and PUL tummy panel. These are just a few of the things that make my heart sing when I look for a cloth diaper.
The gussets give that extra space in the width of the diaper that make this diaper fit functionally – unlike the GroVia ONE – and even give you the opportunity to add more absorbency if you needed it. This is a great daytime absorbency, and some night wetters might find it up to the task.
The double insert sewn in thing – now that I love. It’s also featured on the bumGenius Freetime (no review because I sold that diaper ASAP for bulk) and the Omaiki AIO diaper. This is an AIO feature that I really love and for a variety of reasons.
I’ve shown two pictures below of this diaper compared to the Omaiki AIO and the bumGenius Elemental (another favourite AIO diaper of mine). The Nerdy Mommas is a slightly larger cut. You’ll notice the tabs are longer and the length just a little. This means this diaper is very likely to fit babies for a lot longer and if you’re needing a diaper for that 30-40lb range, this might be a great choice. It also suggests that for smaller babies with tiny waists you might need to use those cross over snaps.
The first is because it makes the diaper super suitable for both front and back wetters. This means it’s a great AIO diaper for girls and boys, and tummy sleepers, and any type of wetter. You can customize the absorbency throughout the AIO to maximize where you need it most – especially during the tiny baby days. Fold it up the front panel to get an extra boost for front wetters.
The second is because as baby grows and you open the rise settings and spread the diaper the inserts spread easily with the diaper. I also love that as you close the rise settings the inserts overlap and the bulk of the diaper can be equally distributed throughout. This is fantastic.
The third is that it’s just a great way to get a lot of absorbency in a diaper while ensuring a better wash and dry experience. 2- 4 layer inserts are easier to wash and dry than one 8 layer insert, or many other combinations.
My Recommendation?
I love this diaper. This is a fantastic all in one cloth diaper priced at only $17.99 USD.
I did not have any problems with it when using it with my child, and the more guests on the show that I talk to who use Nerdy Momma’s the more that I know this is a great product. Talking with Anna I know that a lot of work and back-forth went into making this not just any other AIO cloth diaper, but something that would really work for families.
