Pannolino Bambino EZ AIO Review

During 2021 Black Friday sales, I ordered a few cloth diapers including a small stash from Pannolino Bambino. Why? Because like the Stout House diaper this is another product that I frequently hear about, and if you’re an American this shop offers some fantastic low priced diapering options.

Today we are going to take a look at the PB EZ AIO. Or the Pannolino Bambino All In One, from 2021. This is a diaper with sewn in inserts for a complete package kinda deal. It’s regular pricing is $16.95 making it one of the lowest cost all in one diapers on the market.

About the Pannolino Bambino EZ AIO

A double insert all in one with SEWN IN inserts is my all in one dream. This style is everything I love in a all in one diaper, and is reflective of the diapers I loved the most at the end of my babies diapering careers (omaiki aio diaper).

Here’s some of the key features in the Pannolino Bambino EZ AIO:

  • One-size all in one estimated for 8-38lbs
  • 3×4 rise setting
  • Cross over snaps, and low hip snap
  • Belly panel
  • Inner is lined in a suede material
  • Two sewn in bamboo terry inserts, one in the back and one in front.

Review of the Pannolino Bambino EZ AIO

This is a cheap all in one and it is noticeable in hand – not because the quality is bad, but because the inserts are light and fluffy?  Does that make sense? It’s very similar to the Diaper Rite AIO that I also ordered, but also you can feel that textile weight is different, and the construction is different.

That said it’s not a terrible thing – you do get what you pay for, and not everyone needs incredible absorbency and high price textiles. Sometimes you just need a simple diaper that will and can work – and that’s where I think a product like this really provides an offer for families looking to build a cloth diaper stash.

The double insert is one of my favourite all in one designs because it provides that full body coverage across the diaper that really grows and shrinks with baby. When you need the diaper to be small the inserts overlap, and as the diaper expands with baby, the inserts gently pull part to provide that full coverage through the diaper without favouring one side or the other.

Unlike the Kaleimamo AIO we looked at which had the inserts sewn to the front. There’s not many AIO diapers on the market, but when we look at what features are successful its that ability to provide absorbency where it’s needed when its needed.

That said the downside of this style of absorbency is when you have toddler the absorbency might not be where its needed depending on the wetter. These types of diapers can easily be boosted with a hemp insert, or any other booster to amplify the absorbency experience.

It doesn’t have a double gusset, but that’s fine the width and build of this diaper doesn’t indicate it needs that functionality.

The reviews on the Pannolino Bambino website are fantastic, but I was unable to find other reviews on the internet. I know this is tough, and I hope that by taking time to write this one I can encourage more families to write and share their diapering experiences online in blogs. If you write a blog, do a youtube video or anything, please share the link in the comments. I want to be your biggest cheerleader.

Recommendation for the Pannolino Bambino AIO

If you’re looking for a low-cost all in one diaper to get started the Pannolino Bambino EZ AIO is a definite gateway to diapering. This is a great diaper to add to a new stash.

If you’re looking for a heavy wetter diaper, or something with more absorbency and beef to it, this wouldn’t be my number one recommendation. I feel there are other more durable and absorbent all in one diapers on the market for that task – including the Diaper Rite AIO which I’ll be reviewing in the coming weeks, once I find the missing insert.

This is probably the last time I tandem nursed. I don’t remember when or how the nursing relationship ended, it just fleeted away slowly and I kind of get the sad thinking about it right now. For most of my 4 years of breastfeeding, I wore the same nursing sleep bra until it pretty much […]

Nest & Sprout is a Service

A friend stopped into the shop this weekend, and our conversation still sits with me. She had been an integral part of my early days in motherhood, and we chatted about how what the shop is not about the product but about the service.  And it’s that service of retail that I need to sit […]
