I have a project that I’m working on – building a list of toddler-sized diaper choices for parents cloth diapering beyond 45lbs – and in this quest, I consulted with Heather at Lilly & Frank because a toddler size fitted seemed like the logical solution for tackling nighttime heavy wetters. It offers all over absorbency to reduce bulk, reduce leaks, and provide a better diapering experience. Let’s check out the Toddler-sized Snapless Fitted Diaper from Lilly & Frank.

Why Snapless Fitted Diaper?
Originally, I had chosen a toddler snap diaper for this project because why not snaps? Snapped fitted diapers provide that extra functionality to be able to fasten the diaper without an added fastener… but, I put it back because of the price tag.
If you’ve been considering a fitted diaper but you’re scared of the price – a snapless fitted can save you a few extra dollars while still offering that high quality product your baby wants. A snapped toddler size diaper can cost upwards of $65 Canadian, while the snapless starts around $54 Canadian (*pricing may change depending on product style, type, and year).
The Simply Snapless Fitted Diaper from Lilly & Frank provides the same quality material and insight of the snapped diaper, but without snaps. You’ll find a cute outer layer available in print material with a hidden layer of stretch Terry loop, the most plush and soft velour topping.
You can still use the Simply Snapless Fitted Cloth Diaper like the snapped one, and fold down the rise setting to adjust the overall length of the diaper. You also don’t need a fastener, if you apply the cover right away, the cover should hold the diaper in place. But, if you’d like to use a fastener, you do have a choice of options. I would be most prone to suggest using a pin for this style of diaper, or a diaper band.
The Simply Snapless features a quad fold, unlike the snake insert of the snapped diaper, that can be folded in fourths to be used as the core absorbency of the diaper. This quad fold (think trifold, or prefold, but pad that is folded into fourths) is made of other an organic hemp or an organic bamboo fleece and topped with Terry loop.
Toddler Sized Lilly & Frank Fitted Diaper
This is a larger fitting diaper compared to the one-size snapped diaper. I’ve the picture comparisons below. I opted for the snapless on the advice of Miss. Ashley who had put in my ear in the first place to try this diaper. I’ll provide some feedback from my tester in the next section.
A few things to know about the sizing ranges on the Simply Snapless
- Toddler size fit approximately 20-60lbs
- One size Lilly & Frank diapers fit approximately 10-35lbs
- Petite size fit approximately 7-27lbs
Review of the Toddler Snapless Fitted
I shared this diaper with a local mom who was testing it with her baby, and this is what she had to say:
- the fit is great for tall, leaner toddlers
- offers a more bikini fit style for toddlers
If you have experience with the Lilly & Frank Snapless Fitted, I’d love if you shared it in the comments!
